1. You don't have much money. Why don't you make him a card?

much用來(lái)修飾不可數名詞，many用來(lái)修飾可數名詞。Why don't you + 動(dòng)詞原形？＝ why not + 動(dòng)詞原形？意為“為什么不……？”這是提建議的常用句型之一。除此之外，還可用：① What / How about + 名詞/代詞/ V-ing? 如：How about spending the weekend with us? ② Would you like + 名詞/代詞/動(dòng)詞不定式？如：Would you like to learn French? ③ Would you please + 動(dòng)詞原形？如：Would you please turn off the radio?

2. What are we going to do?

一般將來(lái)時(shí)可由“be going to + 動(dòng)詞原形”構成，表示將要發(fā)生的事或打算、計劃、決定要做的事。一般將來(lái)時(shí)還可由“助動(dòng)詞will / shall + 動(dòng)詞原形”構成。此外，表示位移的動(dòng)詞（如：go, come, leave等），常用現在進(jìn)行時(shí)表示將來(lái)。

3. I think this one is bigger and cheaper than that one.

形容詞、副詞的比較級前面一般不用the，但是遇到下列情況時(shí)，常用the：①表示“兩者中比較……的一個(gè)”，通常用“the + 比較級 + of the two”這一結構。如：Tom is the stronger of the two boys. ②表示“越……越……”用“the + 比較級，the + 比較級”這一結構。如：The more you learn, the happier you are.

形容詞的最高級前一般要用the, 但以下情況不用the：①形容詞的最高級前已經(jīng)有物主代詞、名詞的所有格等修飾語(yǔ)時(shí)。如：She is my best friend. ②兩個(gè)形容詞的最高級同時(shí)修飾一個(gè)名詞時(shí)，后一最高級前常常省略the。如：This mooncake is the biggest and nicest of all.
