1.復習鞏固tall, taller, light, lighter, young, younger, old, older, heavy, heavier, twin, minute, child, cute, also, chat.
2. 能正確地聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀詞匯：centimetre.
3. 復習鞏固Who’s taller than xxx? Whose school bag is heavier, yours or mine?
4. 進(jìn)一步掌握形容詞的比較級。
教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：
1.復習鞏固tall, taller, light, lighter, young, younger, old, older, heavy, heavier, twin, minute, child, cute, also, chat.
2.復習鞏固Who’s …than…？ Whose …is heavier, yours or mine?
3.進(jìn)一步掌握形容詞的比較級。

課前準備：
1.圖片。
2.制作相關(guān)多媒體課件。
3.相關(guān)習題。
教學(xué)過(guò)程：
A. Free talk
1.以Winter Holiday為話(huà)題，引出師生或學(xué)生之間的交談。
2.在交流過(guò)程中，教師引出圖片，通過(guò)圖片復習tall, taller, light, lighter, young, younger, old, older, heavy, heavier, small, smaller, big, bigger, strong, stronger, fat, fatter, thin, thinner等。
B. Presentation and practice
1.通過(guò)練習復習課文。
A、朗讀課文。
B、用括號里所給單詞的正確形式填空。

3.聽(tīng)本課會(huì )話(huà)錄音，讓學(xué)生理解D部分會(huì )話(huà)。
4.根據剛才的'錄音，教師提問(wèn)，學(xué)生試著(zhù)回答會(huì )話(huà)的內容。
5.再次讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)會(huì )話(huà)錄音，讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步理解會(huì )話(huà)。
6.打開(kāi)書(shū)，讓學(xué)生獨立完成第10頁(yè)的填空，同時(shí)請幾位學(xué)生到黑板上板書(shū)填空的內容。
7.學(xué)生完成后集體進(jìn)行校對。
8.集體朗讀D部分。
C. Look, read and judge
1.請學(xué)生說(shuō)自己在班級的優(yōu)勢運用比較級的句型。
I’m taller than xxx.
I’m stronger than xxx.
2.出示E部分圖片，創(chuàng )設情景讓學(xué)生爭當goalkeeper.
3.讓學(xué)生看圖試著(zhù)用英語(yǔ)描述圖中內容。
4.教師提問(wèn)。
1、Is Ben younger than Wang Bing？
2、Is Ben shorter than Mike?
3、Who is stronger, Gao Shan or Mike?
4、Is the ball Wang Bing’s?
5、Who will be the goalkeeper?
5.新授centimetre.
