If there were no electric power, no machines could be run, no living things could survive, no civilization would exist in the world. It’s clear that without electric power living things would be hard to live on the earth.

Today we visited a farm. Early in the morning, we met at the school gate and went there together The farm workers gave us a warm welcome. Then the head of the farm showed us around.
How glad we were to see the crops and vegetables growing well. At noon we had a picnic lunch in the sunshine. After a ten minutes’ break, we had great fun singing and dancing, telling jokes(笑話) or stories. Two of us even played a game of chess. The time passed quickly. Before we knew it,we had to say goodbye to the workers.

孫老師是一個“變化多端”的.人。有次上英語課時，孫老師因為班里有十幾個人沒有交作業(yè)，就用一節(jié)課時間破口大罵。天空似乎與老師一樣今天心情都不太好。這時，天色變暗，烏云密布，雷電轟隆隆地響，傾盆大雨從天而降。老師拉著臉，批評一會，停頓一會，嚇得我們大氣都不敢出，教室靜的可怕。
臨近下課時，老師抱怨了一句天氣，班長“伺機”對老師說：“今天的天氣真的是太可怕了，我也從來沒有見老師發(fā)過這么大的脾氣！”老師聽到后終于大笑起來，緊皺的眉頭也打開了，眼神有了光彩，自我解嘲地說：“我批評你們這些不交作業(yè)的人，批評的我幽默感都出來了！”
