  擴展:英語(yǔ)作文寫(xiě)作技巧

  一、積累詞匯

  初中學(xué)生在閱讀理解方面最大的障礙就是詞匯量的缺乏,而擴大詞匯量絕非死記硬背就能做到。最有效的方法就是大量接觸各種不同體裁的英語(yǔ)文章,利用“在句中記,在文中記”的方法來(lái)積累詞匯。因此我們指導學(xué)生依據英語(yǔ)報刊的特點(diǎn),按欄目、話(huà)題、題材、體裁歸類(lèi)收集常用詞,將出現頻率較高的常用詞匯積累到單詞本子上,查字典寫(xiě)例句,初步學(xué)會(huì )這些單詞的運用,放在身邊,利用零散時(shí)間反復記憶,加強印象。還要求學(xué)生給出與單詞有關(guān)的同義、近義、反義和詞形相似的詞,使詞匯量得到最大限度的復現。如:反義詞appear/disappear,crowded/uncrowded,polite/impolite/rude。詞形相似的詞except/expect,chance/change/challenge。這樣,通過(guò)大量的詞匯練習不僅僅能有效地積累詞匯,還為組句打下了基礎,同時(shí)還能訓練學(xué)生的發(fā)散性思維和總結、歸納、比較的能力,為學(xué)生正確使用詞句奠定了良好的基礎。

  二、活用詞句

  當學(xué)生有了一定的詞匯量的時(shí)候,教師在教學(xué)中可以采用先易后難的方法,讓學(xué)生用簡(jiǎn)單的詞組成句子,再以句子的構成作為學(xué)生進(jìn)行寫(xiě)作訓練的起點(diǎn),引導學(xué)生從對單個(gè)句型的掌握,逐漸過(guò)渡到多種句型的混用,直到學(xué)生能連貫自如地表達思想。一句多譯,句型轉換,是書(shū)面表達能力的關(guān)鍵?偟膩(lái)說(shuō),教師在平時(shí)的教學(xué)中要將日常生活中經(jīng)常出現的詞、句作為材料讓學(xué)生訓練,使學(xué)生樂(lè )于接受,輕松完成,享受成功感。

  三、創(chuàng )設情景

  例如,學(xué)生舉行運動(dòng)會(huì ),開(kāi)“生日聚會(huì )”,以“A sports meeting”和“My birthday party”為語(yǔ)境,讓學(xué)生在活動(dòng)中仔細觀(guān)察,親身體驗,然后試著(zhù)用自己所學(xué)的.語(yǔ)言知識,表達“A sports meeting”和“My birthday party”這些話(huà)題。在我們新教材的每個(gè)單元中,都設有寫(xiě)作訓練題,它們用英語(yǔ)設置語(yǔ)境,用英語(yǔ)提示內容,這些寫(xiě)的練習,與我們平時(shí)用漢語(yǔ)給語(yǔ)境、用英語(yǔ)完成段落的方式相比,更為理想。當然,教師在設立語(yǔ)境話(huà)題時(shí)要與學(xué)生的水平和能力相適應,應從簡(jiǎn)到難,從淺到深進(jìn)行。否則,學(xué)生會(huì )無(wú)從下筆,久而久之,他們會(huì )失去信心。

  比如筆者實(shí)施多年的“五分鐘課前演講”:在上正課前五分鐘里,要學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)講述一個(gè)故事(積累素材);或者課前朗讀一篇短小精的文章,讓大家課后模仿;或者就大家平時(shí)關(guān)心的話(huà)題寫(xiě)一個(gè)發(fā)言稿或演講稿進(jìn)行課前發(fā)言;或者讓學(xué)生自立主題,圍繞自己喜歡的主題寫(xiě)一段話(huà)。這種課前訓練取得了很好的效果。

  五、寫(xiě)英文日記

  要養成記英語(yǔ)日記勤練筆的習慣。經(jīng)常用英語(yǔ)記日記等于天天在練筆,這無(wú)疑是提高英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作行之有效的好辦法。在記日記時(shí),不要總是用簡(jiǎn)單句,要有意識地用一些好的詞組、句型和復合句等,使文句更優(yōu)美生動(dòng)。對一些所給情景寫(xiě)的文章,寫(xiě)好后要對照一些范文,找出差距,然后再去練習,不僅能促使學(xué)生及時(shí)鞏固所學(xué)的知識,還能鍛煉他們的恒心和學(xué)習毅力,同時(shí)對提高英語(yǔ)作文也是很有幫助的。只有這樣,學(xué)生才能通過(guò)多練習提高英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作水平。
